Krip Borah Ph.D (Emeritus)
Director of Research & Development
Management of corporate pharmaceutical research and development, investigation of medicinal plants, development of pharmaceutical products including clinical supplies, preparation and submission of IND, NDA, ANDA and supplements to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
Dr. Borah received his PhD in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from University of Munich in Germany. He began his career with CIBA – GIEGY in India and spent fourteen years in various capacities including medicinal plant chemistry.
Dr. Borah served as Director of Pharmaceutical Development at Organon, a and then as Director of Research & Development at Enzon, Inc. He joined G&W Laboratories as Director of Pharmaceutical Research.
Dr Borah continues to be active member of American Chemical Society and American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists (AAPS).
Onkar S. Tomer Ph.D
President and Business Development
Management of analytical research, development and validation of analytical & bio-analytical methods. Separation and characterization of new compounds, preparation and submission of Chemistry Manufacturing and Control (CMC) sections of IND, NDA, ANDA and supplements to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
Dr. Tomer received his MS in Organic Chemistry and PhD in Analytical Chemistry from Rutgers University. He started his career as analytical research chemist with S. B. Penick. In 1980, Dr. Tomer joined Carter–Wallace Pharmaceutical Research division.
Dr. Tomer moved to Pennwalt Pharmaceutical Research as a research scientist in the Pre-formulation department. Leaving Penwalt, Dr Tomer accepted a position with Organon managing analytical research, drug metabolism and stability testing of new drug products. In 1990, Dr Tomer joined Pfizer and remained there until leaving to start Chromak Research and Tomer Labs.
Dr Tomer is a member of American Chemical Society, American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists and AOAC.
